A highlight of TRUSTECH 2024 will undoubtedly be the keynote speech on Thursday, December 5, which will be given by Dr Luc Julia, a specialist in human-computer interactions and a major AI popularizer. In his best-selling book, There is no such thing as Artificial Intelligence, he demystifies AI by referring to it as “augmented intelligence” and contradicting common preconceptions and images in the media about the potential threats of AI. He was also the co-creator of Siri, Apple’s digital assistant, served as Chief Technologist at Hewlett-Packard and co-founded multiple start-ups in Silicon Valley. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Renault Group, where he helps roll out innovations in AI, human-machine interfaces and connectivity.
