2024 Exhibitor Interviews - Infineon

1) How did your last participation at TRUSTECH go?

TRUSTECH 2023 was a very well-organized event, the venue is excellent, the variety of exhibits was quite impressive, the turnout is great for Infineon, we managed to successfully launch and communicate on our new portfolio with TEGRION™, SECORA™ Pay Bio, PQC for ID, Calypso™ MOVE, SECORA™ Connect. We also enjoyed a lot the pop-up salon from our partners Yves Swiss & Digiseq for artificial payment fingernail which attracted lots of early adopters, we had many fruitful meetings with partners and customers, last but not least our Bavarian reception was a highlight drawing in a crowd of several hundred people, it provided a wonderful opportunity to network and socialize and convey our values: driving Decarbonization & Digitalization together.

2) Could you describe your company as well as the products/solutions that you will be presenting at TRUSTECH 2024?

Of course we are thrilled to announce our return to TRUSTECH 2024, with an even bigger booth and a lineup of new innovations set to debut for the first time. This promises to elevate the experience of attendees and showcase our commitment to pushing boundaries in our digital security industry.

3) In your opinion, what are the current trends that are providing opportunities for your company?

From a global perspective and beyond traditional application of cashless payment and digital identity, I would like to share 3 main trends:

1. AI for the internet of things IoT: At Infineon, we're not just surfing the AI wave, we're powering and enabling it. Especially Edge AI. With an ever-growing IoT landscape, edge devices don’t have to rely on a stable and fast cloud connection anymore for AI-based applications. Instead, processing power in IoT devices enables AI directly at the edge – and takes the IoT to the next level.
2. #Matter: the jointly developed #Matter standard makes smart home appliance intuitive and easy. Such inspirational technology turns almost anything into a payment device – even without any kind of battery. The @Matter standard will enable the integration of more (energy-efficient) devices quickly, easily, and securely, becoming a real game changer for the smart home (e.g. using a smart door lock), its breakthrough and thus driving #decarbonization all made possible by #IoT technologies.
3. Health and Well-being: Infineon Technologies products and software solutions are the perfect match for smart health appliances as they meet the needs of digital healthcare devices. We support a health-conscious lifestyle by enabling smart devices that can help improve well-being and stay healthy longer by making them reliable, convenient, personalized - and secure.

4) Why did you choose to participate at TRUSTECH 2024? How is TRUSTECH important for growing your business?

TRUSTECH is one of the biggest event in Europe for payment and Identity, with many exhibitors, customers and partners... We will showcase our latest innovations for banking and identity market, with our security solutions serving applications from smart cards to new, emerging use cases. We can demonstrate our broad portfolio including hardware, software, packaging and services and exchange with new leads on new opportunities and future projects.

5) Where do you intend to grow your business in the future (countries or verticals)?

Semiconductors are crucial to solve the energy challenges of our time and shape the digital transformation. This is why Infineon is committed to actively driving decarbonization and digitalization. As a global semiconductor leader, we enable game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
