Transports

Choose the eco-friendly option whenever possible

 

Travel by public transport, carpool, or bike if you can.

For example, the journey from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the Parc des Expositions of Versailles emits 0.37 kg CO2 eq by train (RER or transilien in Ile-de-France region), compared to 8.1 CO2 eq for the same trip by petrol-powered car.

Your Pass

 

  • A paper badge is mandatory at TRUSTECH so our exhibitors can identify their various interlocutors. However, please reduce your printouts: one paper badge per person.
  • Avoid using plastic badge holders; cardboard badge holders will be provided upon your arrival at the exhibition. TRUSTECH stopped producing plastic badge holders in favour of cardboard ones since its 2023 edition. This approach promotes biodegradability and recyclability, reducing the carbon footprint as cardboard production from sustainable sources emits fewer greenhouse gases than petroleum-derived plastic.

Consumption

Adopt Good Habits

 

  • Be careful about what you consume at the exhibition, so as to prevent waste. Remember to use the sorting bins provided, which will help us recover and recycle waste.
  • Whenever possible, opt for a lunch that includes local, seasonal and/or organic ingredients. For example, tomatoes grown in a greenhouse out of season generate 8 times more CO2 emissions than seasonal tomatoes grown in the ground.
